Tis the Season

The weather here just plunged from the mid 70s to the 50s...we are already humming our favorite xmas tunes! Sara will be singing a solo for the school musical and both girls start soccer on Friday.

Walk at the Lake

We went for a nice walk today at the lake with Charlie and Eddie. They were excited to wear their new windbreakers.

A week at the Outer Banks

We spent last week in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Our trip started in Kill Devil hills where we vistied the Wright Brother's Memorial and saw the paths of the first historic flights. Then we moved down the coast to Nages Head where we explored Jockey Ridge, Hatteras Island where we saw the famous Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. Later we took a ferry across the inlet to Ocracoke Island where we toured and had a great meal at a famous pub. In between we filled the time with berach combing, fishing and of course shopping.

Week Two

Another busy week...homework, practices, errands and yard work!















Sara went to a make-over birthday party before soccer today. She was the only girl on the team with a new doo and make-up! Yikes

Look Who Turned 8 today!

Sara turned 8 years old today and enjoyed a party with 10 of her best friends where they bowled, played laser tag, video games and ate cake.

Jenna Wins! Jenna Wins!

Jenna won for Student Council President. She was very excited. Her best friend Heather was voted for Vice President. Should be an intersting 5th grade year.

Labor Day Weekend

Our Labor Day Weekend was pretty uneventful since Jenna came down with the flu. We spent a lot a time around the house planting our fall flowers and cutting back some of the Summer's growth. Also took some practice shots of Sara for her upcoming birthday this week.

Smarties vote for Jenna

Jenna is running for the President of Student Council this year with a creative slogan...Smarties vote for Jenna!...She hopes to lure away voters by appealing to their sweet teeth.
